About Baylee
When this beautiful girl came into our home, we knew she was something special. We all fell in love with her instantly. She is so smoochy, loving and has the most beautiful brown eyes.
The sweet and very gentle Baylee is an exceptional girl with such a gentle sensitive nature for a dog of her age. Just a year old and 25 kilos of beautiful Chocolate covered sweetness she will make a wonderful family addition to most family situations.
She does come off as a little shy meeting new people and will take a little to warm up but ones she comfortable with you she's a real smooch and and gentle affectionate sweetheart

Favorite things:
First thing in the morning Baylee loves to get morning cuddles. After her cuddles she wants to go for a walk. Her most favorite thing is to go on long daily walks. She loves to cuddle up on the couch next to you and sometimes on our lap, she thinks she is little enough to be a lap dog. She loves treats and soft toys.
Interaction with humans:
Baylee is very shy when meeting new people, sometimes she will back away with her tail between her legs if she feels unsafe with someone. This can take some time for her to warm up to a person.
When she is comfortable, you are not allowed to pay attention to anyone else but her, and when she looks at you with those beautiful brown eyes you wouldn’t want to.
Obedience / Training:
Baylee will sit when asked to and if she is feeling like it (cause she has an attitude like a Diva) she will shake. She walks well on leash but does pull when she has picked up a scent or has seen an animal. (Dog, Bird, Cat etc) She is not very motivated when she is walking but does listen when you give her a command…most of the time.
Animal Social Skills:
Baylee loves other dogs. She enjoys playing with them at dog parks, loves meeting them on walks and is happy to play with her little foster sister. But she doesn't like to have a dog bouncing around her all the time, she will often get annoyed and walk away and come over to her foster parents for some peace and quiet. She loves dogs but she is happier with human contact.
Food:
Baylee has two meals a day, breakfast and dinner. For breakfast she has premium dried food with ½ cup of warm chicken stock. She does not eat dry food by itself so a little flavor helps her with all her food. For dinner she will have dry food mixed with rice and boiled chicken and other nights she will have dry food and with Prime mixed in. She also has treats throughout the day. And loves her water.
Independence:
Baylee does not do well on her own. She does not mind going outside on her own as long as knows that someone is home, but she doesn't like to go outside for long.
She is very much a people person and likes to have A LOT of human company.
When left alone Baylee will bark, cry and pace around, at times she has been a little destructive.
Bathing and Hygiene:
Bayle is not a fan of having a bath as this still scares her so she needs a gentle slow approach to desensitize her
Sleeping:
Baylee sleeps in the living room in her own doggy bead. She will occasionally jump up onto her couch and sleep there. No problems with her through the night.
Exercise:
Baylee loves to go on long walks as many times a day possible. She really enjoys running around the dog park and can spend hours in there.
Inside the home:
Baylee is great inside the home, she is toilet trained. The only issue is when she is left alone she can be destructive.
Ideal Home:
Baylee’s ideal home would be a home that always has someone there. A home where someone works from home or a stay-at-home parent. A medium sized yard is fine as she does not spend much time out there. She does need to be walked every day. Baylee is great with kids. A family will need to understand that she needs a good few days to settle in, she may not eat for a few days as she is very sensitive and takes a few days to feel safe
A home with our without another dog but if there is another dog we seek and not annoying male lol who will not jump all over her
