Betsy - 6 Year Old Greyhound (Trial)

Betsy is a vibrant 6yo greyhound. Her long and lanky features are sure to turn heads whenever you go!

Since coming into care Betsy has adapted extremely well. She gets on well with her dog foster sibling, and has not demonstrated any reactivity to other dogs, people or cars when out on walks.

She loves to chill out on the lounge beside you for as long as you let her. She’s a large lounge lizard - but frequently experiences bouts of ‘zoomies’ which are very entertaining to watch!

Betsy would thrive in a home where someone is home more often than not. She needs a home with no other cats or pocket pets (too tempting, and we can’t blame her - it’s hardwired!). Families with older children over 14 will be considered.

Betsy is fully toilet trained and takes herself outside via the doggy door when she needs to. She is great on the lead and in the car.

At night she will fall asleep on any soft surface inside the house. She absolutely loves sleeping in your bed, but she is also working on crate training, and responding well to having time and space to relax.

Betsy’s forever home will need to have good fencing and a backyard for her to explore and spend time in. She loves to snuggle in for a big cuddle, especially in the morning.

Betsy’s adoption fee is $350 and she is in care in the Lake Macquarie area. The adoption fee covers desexing, microchipping, vaccinations and flea/worming treatments.
