About Lily - 6 Year Old French Bulldog (Trial)
Hi Everyone! My name is Lily and I’m a 6 year old, female, typical French Bulldog! I love being the centre of attention, all eyes on me please. I’m the best shadow in the world.
My foster mum says I need a home with a very loving family, perhaps a couple or family with teenage children, that will understand my breed & all the intricacies associated. My new family must give me lots of affection, cuddles & pats and understand my need to be close to them. If you sit, then I sit – on you, can I get closer please!
I have a little bit of a special need, which is not my fault & I may need some ongoing care in the future. Unfortunately, in the past my ear infections went untreated, which led to my ears closing up and me having a hearing impairment. When I started my new life in rescue, I was given the opportunity to have ear canal surgery. This is all complete now and my vet said that I should get some hearing back!! Yippee. I confirm I can hear loud noises & whistles!
My ears may need ongoing care, maybe a visit to the vet for check ups twice a year to stay on top of any nasty bugs!
This doesn’t stop me from loving life!! I love my ball, my teddy & humans, I’ll play fetch with you, but mostly I just love to run away & chew the ball.
I’m best suited to an only dog home, you are my world and I don’t want to share you with another dog! I’m not a fan of pocket pets, so NO cats, rats, guinea pigs etc. I do like other dogs, I can socialise but sometimes I get too excited & “in your face” and some dogs don’t like that, so any interaction needs to be supervised.
I will need to be allowed inside & to sleep with you or very near to you please; I just need to be with you – always – no locking me away from you!! I would do well with someone that can work from home or part time. I will need a secure yard with lots of toys to keep me occupied when you need to go out. I will be super excited when you return and will jump up & try to be as close to you as possible. My new home is probably best with no small children.
I’m really trying hard to nail toileting! You might need to remind me to go & take me out to go to the toilet. I just don’t want to leave your side.
I just want to be your life, your love, your everything. Can you be my new human?
