About Diva
Diva is very playful and has a bright puppy energy. She loves to cuddle with you on the couch, and will lick and nibble your hands until you get the hint to pat her and rub her belly as she crawls into a Roach position.
Diva gets along great with his foster brother Gary. They are learning to play together, and they share Gary's toys very well. They also feed together with no issues. Diva holds her own and stands her ground if Gary tries to take her food or treats.
Diva has started learning "on the bed" and sleeps on her bed next to her humans at night. She's a little naughty and wants to play with them on their bed at bedtime but she soon gets the hint and knows to go to her own bed and sleeps separately at night.
For the most part like any grey, Diva is sleeping mostly during the day, so that puppy energy doesn't last too long.
When Diva first arrived in fostercare, she was very timid, scared of traffic/loud noises and couldn't climb the stairs to the apartment. Foster brother Gary showed her the way and she got the stairs within one day, and now she's very confident with them.
Diva is lovely with other dog breeds, and happy to socialise with polite calm dogs.
Diva is the sweetest, prettiest little thing and adored by her foster family. She has progressed very well in fostercare to become the bestest girl she can be. Any home will be very lucky to have this little Diva join their ensemble.
No cats or small dogs
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
