About Shyloh (Located in Greensborough)
Shyloh has a gentle, calm nature but as her name suggests she can be shy.
She always greets her owner for pats in the mornings and when she gets home. She enjoy’s following her person around the house and sitting next to them, lazing in a sunny window and chasing small toys.
Shyloh will let you know how much she loves to be patted/stroked by her big loud purrs. She also loves being picked up and walked around the house with. She is not a lap cat, unless she is kneading you, preferring to tuck in beside you on the couch.
Shyloh tends to go into a little trance and kneads in circles for a very long time if you let her. She loves to be brushed and trimming her nails is a breeze. She is very polite and will never jump up on the bench/table or climb furniture except to sit next to you on the couch.
She does not like loud noises, other cats, dogs, children, or large groups of people, these things tend to make her hide under the bed and can stress her out.
Shyloh is looking for an indoor only home (an enclosed cat yard would be a bonus), with one or two quiet humans who enjoy a regular routine; and have no other pets or children.
Medical notes
Shyloh has a sensitive stomach which is well managed by a strict diet of Royal Canin Hypoallergenic or Royal Canin Sensitivity. Other diets can cause her to develop diarrhoea.
She also has a spoon full of Osmolax mixed in tuna in spring water every 3 days to help keep her regular.
She has had a full health check last month and is healthy in all other regards.
Shyloh is particular about her litter tray and needs one with high walls that is cleaned twice daily otherwise she will just toilet on the floor - because no one likes standing in their own poo and wee!
In the past if her environment becomes too stressful or loud, or has other pets in it she has also tolieted inappropriately to show she isn't happy.
