About Ace
We get so frustrated sending out meet and greet offers - people either ghost us or they decide after the meet and greet that they have not done their homework on the dog size / needs etc. Poor Ace has now been stuffed around for no reason and others interested missed the chance to meet him. Applications are now back open for this beautiful boy
Are you searching for your 'other half'? Are you looking for your ‘shadow’?
Perhaps a Miniature Poodle who will follow you everywhere you go?
Ace is a beautiful fun loving guy who is just shy of 3 years old – Ace is a loving boy who loves to be with his humans doing anything they are doing or just generally being around them.
Ace is an ex-breeding boy who has come into care to have all his vet work completed and find his forever family.
Ace while a chilled out boy can still show some nervousness in new situations although as he experiences more in life his confidence does grow, but when nervous slow movements are best.
Ace has a good little appetite and has no food aggression – while he has beautiful manners and personality he is still learning the word sit at dinner time but is happy to calmly stand there and wait for his dinner.
Ace is looking for that family / person who will love that and more!
Ace is 12.4kgs (we think most the weight is in the fur!)
Ace has been great around the other dogs he has hung with whilst in care but would also happily be an only dog.
Ace has also shown interest in stuffed toys since in care – not sure how long they would last once another dog teaches him what to do with them!
Ace is most happy when being near his humans – they can be working, reading, folding the washing and he is happy to just be near – either watching or snoozing.
Ace loves to cuddle up on the couch or in his crate. Ace has learnt crate training since coming into care and this does help when he is somewhere new as he has been busted having a sniff or two around (no destruction just a bit of rearranging of the nick nacks at the home!)
Ace is not tested with cats
Ace is house trained.
Ace is brilliant on the lead but still learning the recall component with his name.
Ace has been good with the kids who have come to visit however as he can still be nervous we feel a home with older or no kids would be better for him.
Ace’s idea home would be with people who were home more often than not and could very much incorporate him into their daily life.
Ace has a typical Poodles coat and does require regular grooming and brushing.
So if you think Ace sound like your type of fur friend please send in an application to the rescue!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.

INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
