About Steven - 4 Month Old German Shepherd X (Trial)
Meet Steven, an adorable 4 month old male puppy. His mum was a German Shepherd. We don't know who daddy was but we are fairly certain he must have been part Ridgeback, as Steven has the prominent line along his spine that is typical of Ridgebacks. Steven is a very handsome boy.
Steven currently weighs around 15 kg and he will grow into a large dog. He will be a loyal family dog.
Steven is a very healthy little puppy who is living in foster care in Newcastle NSW. He lives with other dogs in his foster home and he loves to play with them.
Steven is an affectionate little puppy and he likes to get pats and cuddle with his people. Steven can be timid at first and he is still learning about the world. Steven is looking for a home where his owner will spend lots of time socialising him. This means helping Steven to become confident in a range of environments and with a range of people.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Steven will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Steven sleeps on his dog bed in an enclosed area in his foster home. He is making great progress with his toilet training and this will need to be continued in his new home.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher and companion for Steven. This will help him grow his confidence.
Steven needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing, at least 5.5 ft tall, with no small gaps.
Steven is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. He is available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
