Meet Prawn!

Prawn is a playful and excitable kitten with a lot of love to give. He always enjoys a friendly wrestle with other kitties, but once tired out, will curl up in your lap or in the sun for a nap. He is energetic and entertaining, curious to explore the highest shelves and play with his toys. Prawn is eager to play with other kitties, as well as cuddling with them, also being socialised with dogs, though taking some time to warm up to them. He is fun and sociable, looking for a home where he can always be his playful self!

Originally brought to the shelter as a singleton kitten, our little friend Prawn was adopted but returned due to what we like to call 'singleton syndrome'. Essentially, because Prawn didn't have any siblings growing up and was separated from his mother too soon, Prawn didn't have anyone to rough and tumble with, so he didn't learn how to play nicely and turned to humans to roughhouse. We sent Prawn to a foster home with other cats to learn some basic manners, and he's now a polite young gentleman looking for a forever home!
