Abel Is an endearing goof, a giant lapdog and lives for belly rubs. He loves to bound around and play, often shaking his bum to show his delight. Yet he equally enjoys curling up beside his human for cuddles and relaxation.

He is a quick learner and has picked up lots during his time in foster care, thriving on the use of food in commands. Abel has great bladder control, quickly learning his walk routine for toilet time and is able to hold whilst living in an apartment.

He is a handsome dog who captures the hearts of those that he meets through his friendly nature. He is not a barker and is very chilled out once he has been out on his walks. He is an obedient dog and has gotten much better walking on lead whilst getting used to city life. He is a great companion and enjoys his humans being around, although he is fine by himself for up to 6 hours when left with toys or his kong.

Abel gets excited by other dogs when on leash. He will often pull, wanting to go interact with them. Abel continues to improve on this but needs an owner to reinforce that not every dog is to be played or interacted with.

He is not good with small animals such as cats, birds and possums as he will try to chase them.

Abel needs a home with garden space where he can run around and let out his zoomies each day. In order to then highlight his best quality - his endearing personality.
