Arlo is a typical boisterous kitten but he is also smoochy and affectionate. This fluffy black and white boy has a very big personality – he has a lot to say and a lot to do!

When he is bored, Arlo can be a bit of a handful. He will do anything to get your attention and keep himself amused. If left alone for long periods of time he has the potential to get up to his own mischief and bounce off the walls.

Arlo needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He is perfect for a busy home where he will be played with and adored. And he needs a kitty or pup friend to help keep him amused!

This is a boy who loves hard and plays hard. He would be great with older kids who understand that sometimes Arlo might accidently scratch in the middle of game playing. He means no harm though.

Ideally Arlo would also have another kitten or young cat to play with; one that can keep up with him and give as good as they get. He needs a kitty who can match his energy levels or he will tend to dominate less active or engaged kitties.

Although he has not been tested on dogs, with the right careful and slow introductions we feel Arlo could do well with a small cat-friendly dog. He is likely to want to be boss though.

Arlo is not suited to being an only cat left alone all day. He won’t cope with that at all. He loves company and while he does sleep most of the day, he will need plenty of play time and interaction of an evening.

Arlo can be a bit messy with his litter (loves to shovel it around in the box) and he did once take a dislike to a particular silicon mat and peed on it, so we removed it and problem solved!

Arlo was rescued when he was just a few weeks old so he has been handled a lot by people his whole life. He can be picked up and smooched but he expects play time as well as your affection.
