About Tait
Hey there, how’s it going? My name is Tait and I am ready for my forever home
Now you have probably looked at my photos and just been blown away at how cute I am – I mean come on how could you not – I am a Groodle and I am just a baby at 12 weeks old
I have come into care from a breeder for their personal reasons and the rescue is going to ensure I have all my vet work completed and the right family adopts me.
My foster mum says I’m like a silent ninja when I follow her around the house while she does her thing.
I love to sit next to you for pats but I would be even happier if allowed on your lap! I am a cuddler but I can also be mistaken for a sloth where if I’m comfortable where I am I will stay and nap.
I can often be found napping off somewhere quiet and by myself – nothing better than a good nap.
I have all my basic training down pat (ha ha ha pun intended) and I’m trying really hard to remember to not jump up on your leg when you get home – I do forget from time to time my manners but that is just cause I’m excited your home and I’m still a baby
I love being able to have access to inside and outside and love being able to go out into the garden thru the day and have a good run around, and a sunbake. I am good with other dogs and love to play with other dogs - I am still learning to play but can be an only furchild or with another fur sibling - I'm pretty easy either way.
I am also great with kids and currently have a few to play with – oh okay I have made them my slaves and I get carried around sometimes if I look cute enough
I also love having another dog to snuggle with on the bed / couch / dog bed – basically anywhere – I want to be their bff.
I am happy to hang out why you are at work but would need mental stimulation provided and lots of attention when you get home - I am currently in a foster home where they work split hours (my foster mum works from home 3 days a week) which I love.
I am untested with cats but as a young pup could easily be trained to leave them alone.
I am working on my house training and my foster mum says we are about 98% there
I do have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure that you do remember that it’s a life time of grooming.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
