About Chloe - 6 Week Old Cattle Dog X Staffy (hold 10/7
Chloe is a 6 week old cattle dog x staffy puppy in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Chloe is a brown & white / brindle female, and loves exploring. She enjoys hanging out with her humans and enjoys getting cuddles, pats, exploring & playing.
Chloe is a really fantastic puppy. Mostly toilet trained, and learning basic commands, full of love, affection and energy.
She has been around my 13 year old grumpy old man dog, and 3 young children, and everyone is getting along brilliantly, so would be suitable for homes with kids of any age, and for homes with a resident dog.
She is being crate trained at night with very little issues (other than shes quite smart and can sometimes get out). She's had her first vaccinations and has been microchipped.
Chloe's brother is available for adoption (Scout).
Unfortunately the puppies aren't allowed to be adopted together, to avoid littermate syndrome (which can occur when two puppies adopted from the same litter grow up together in the same home, and they fail to properly socialise with people and other dogs)
To register your interest in adopting Chloe you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Chloe’s adoption fee is $700.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Chloe is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
