Benji - 3 Year Old Corgi X (Trial)

Benji is looking for his forever home.

He is estimated to be around 3 years old and is a mixed breed (possibly corgi cross).

He has a beautiful loving nature and is super affectionate.

He loves spending time with his people, going for a walk and having a cuddle.

Benji is house trained and is great around other dogs. He has a calm nature, is non-reactive and great with kids of all ages. He travels well in the car and walks nicely on the lead.

He loves people so it would be preferable if he wasn’t left alone all day, so would probably not suit full time workers.

He is used to living with other dogs so would do well having a doggie sibling or having regular meet ups with doggie friends.

Benji is in foster care in the Charlestown, NSW area. They are currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $500.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
