About Oliver - 4 Month Old Mini Fox Terrier (Trial)
Hello! My name is Oliver, I am a 16-week-old Mini Fox Terrier and would love to get settled into my forever home soon.
I love chasing a ball and I'm so clever I am already bring it back sometimes. I've also been working on sit, stay, and not to bark at the birds or unfamiliar sounds I haven't heard before. Lucky I am young so I am the perfect age to learn my manners if someone has the time and the motivation to teach me. My foster carer tells me puppy school is a great place to learn so I think I would like to check that out so I can make some puppy friends.
I really like to sit on your lap when we are finished playing and enjoy a tummy rub so someone who loves cuddles as much as I do would be a good match for me.
I'm doing pretty well so far with toilet training so that I can be inside with my humans, especially at night time and I love to have a sniff and play in the yard as well so a small to medium yard would be nice. An older, calm dog would be great in my new home but if not I would be happy with just human company.
At my current foster home I am very respectful of the old large dog even though I wasn't sure about her at first. I'm also staying with two kids who are calm and gentle so I would be happy to go to a home where there is children as long as they are puppy savvy and know I'm still learning not to play chew and jump.
A home where I can really be a part of the family is important to me. I would love to have to join you on adventures which, as a puppy will take time but I promise you I'm worth it. If this sounds like a good fit for you please let me know.
My foster mum hasn't tested me with cats or pocket pets.

Oliver is in foster care in Salamander Bay, NSW. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
