About Flynn
AVAILABLE NOW
Absolute hunk-a-spunk Flynn is a gorgeous wolfhound blend (not sure what he's blended with 😉) who came down from Kalgoorlie to the big smoke a couple of months ago and has been living it up in foster care.
He's a really great family dog who loves people and is affectionate and friendly. He's good with kids but is a big, happy, excitable guy so is best suited to bigger and/or dog-savvy kids who won't be overwhelmed by his enthusiastic play.
Flynn is not suited to living with cats or small pets; he was social with other dogs when tested in the pound environment and could potentially live with another dog, ideally a female with a similar energy and play style.
Flynn is now desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
During July his adoption fee is REDUCED to just $250!
Please message the page or email avonvalley@safe.org.au if you can offer Flynn a home
Read the message below from his foster family, who have been giving him some wonderful experiences ❤️
Flynn is a beautiful dog. Vets place him somewhere between 1 and 2 years old, he definitely still has that puppy energy about him. He likes a daily walk but does pull on the lead, and gets excited when he sees other dogs. He needs to be on the leash at all times until he learns better recall. He can play fetch and will bring the ball or stick back. He loves zoomies. He has a pretty strong prey instinct and has not adjusted to our cat. He is better placed without cats in the house. He hasn't been around other dogs while he's been in foster, I can't comment on what he'd be like living with a doggo friend. He's been bush camping and was really well behaved, no barking and friendly with all the kids and other people we met. He's an energetic and intelligent boy, he needs lots of toys when left alone. He's been outside alone while we have been at work and has been fine. We both work hybrid and there's only a couple of days a week no one is home. He thinks that long waggy thing at the end of his body is the enemy and will spend a long time trying to catch it, it is hilarious to watch. 😂
He loves his people and will be someone's perfect companion.
