About Maxey
I am the cutie known as Maxie! I love people more than anything and could sit all day cuddling, playing or being given scratches. I absolutely love affection and love to to be around my humans.
I have been living in a home for a while now and I love being a pet! I am not very food focused, I’d much rather have your attention, and lay on the couch with you and cuddle.
I love to sleep through the day, I’m pretty chilled out most of the time unless it’s when you’ve just come home and I go bananas with zoomies, as it means more cuddles! I may be young but I’m certainly not a tiny puppy anymore and sometimes I forget that, by getting overexcited and jumping on you, forgetting my own strength!
I have been living with my favourite 2 humans and greyhound friend Dippy, who is an older female, she is the boss dog of the house and I respect that! When I first got here I was a nervy boy but now I have the most confidence! So I think I’ll have no problem getting used to a new household.
I can get scared around loud traffic and busy roads but I’m getting a lot better! Sometimes when I’m being walked I’ll freeze if there is another dog or someone nearby, but after a few seconds I’ll continue walking.
I’m mostly potty trained, sometimes i forget to do my number 1s outside.
I’m happy in the home now and ready to find my forever home! I’m not sure how I’d act around children. But am good with other large dogs and humans!
Medical notes
