About Storm
Storm is a loyal and loving herding-type dog who very much has a sensitive side. He will do best with a handler that understands this and will use positive, force-free methods to form a loving bond and bring out the best in him.
He would suit a sports home with someone who can happily manage a higher drive herding breed doggo, or a rural home with someone who is used to managing working line herding dogs and is looking for a low-key worker or pet dog.
Storm isn’t all about action though, he loves playing tug-o-war and chasing a ball. He is also a very cuddly boy, and he loves snuggling under your chin for snoozes. He has adorable floppy ears that seem to get themselves stuck in all sorts of hilarious poses. That’s right; you’re pretty much guaranteed to fill up your phone photo storage, capturing his sweet and cheeky personality!
This sensitive boy is crate trained and loves his safe little space. If ever there is too much going on around him, he’ll take himself off to his crate to feel secure. Storm can take a moment to warm up to new people. He can jump up when greeting new people and come across as ‘a lot’ but it’s really just that he’s unsure of what to expect from new people. He does a great job meeting people on a leash in a calm setting. He will then come to new people for affection because he has been given a chance to feel confident around them. You'll know you've won his heart when he brings you a toy to play with!
Storm currently lives with another dog, but would be perfectly happy as an only dog. He can be a bit full-on with his canine pals, but does quite well with calm and tolerant dogs, so he might also be compatible with another dog if they fit his personality.
This handsome boy with a heart of gold will make one lucky adopter very, very happy!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
