About Spice
Spice is super sweet girl, instantly becoming your best friend. She is very affectionate, wants plenty of cuddles, loves to curl up next you but she will happily leave you alone when you need space and is just generally an all round delight!
She gets on well with other dogs and loves to play with her dog pals, is super clever and learns new tricks with ease. She is confident in new and busy environments and will happily sit by you at the local cafe.
She is a Cattle Dog Mix however she is not super high energy like you would expect, her main priorities are being around her humans and is looking for a family that can include her in their day to day life.
MY IDEAL HOME: Spice's ideal home would have a backyard to sunbathe, do zoomies and run around with favourite toys etc. Spice would like to be around family whenever possible, so ideally you will be home more than not. But she is crate trained.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Spice is a cattle dog cross, so she can be energetic and enjoys a good decent daily walk... that being said also happily snoozes or sunbathe until late morning.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Although we haven't observed Spice spending extended period of time with children, she has been good interacting with children while on walks, she can be a little over enthusiastic when playing so is best with children 12 and up.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Spice is currently the only pet in her foster home however she loves meeting other dogs and plays very well. She is an intense player so supervising the dogs and finding suitable playmates is recommended. She would likely do well with another dog for company provided that they could match her play style.

For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
