About Lilo
The Boss Girl
Lilo is a stunner, with her expressive eyes and lovely coat, but she’s also a great companion. She’s friendly, curious, loves snuggling with you or alone, kneading her blanket. She has episodes of craziness where she runs up and down the room or house, and then relaxes again. Her fetish is shoes – she entertains herself with any you leave lying around.
Lilo came into care after spending many months being looked after by young people in a share house, each thinking she belonged to someone else on the street. But it turns out she didn’t belong to anyone; she’d just been seeking companionship from whoever was kind to her. Now she’s safe and we’d love her to find a home where she will be one of the family and never dumped again.
Lilo does not like other cats – she’s spent three months in her foster home and continues to hiss at, and make life difficult for, the other cats, so much so, that she often needs to be kept separate from them in her own room. She doesn’t love dogs either, but we feel she’d warm to a gentle dog in time.
She is extremely food-motivated and loves to eat a variety of wet foods, not just dry food (and she’s not especially keen on dry anyway). She needs regular brushing which she loves, and her nails need trimming occasionally, otherwise they get caught on things (her carer can show you how to do that). An indoor-only home would suit her best, with someone who is home a fair bit and has time for her. She is a very interactive and confident girl who loves attention and care, and will bond closely with her human.
If you’re looking for a sweet friend, look no further!
