Hi, I'm Rick. I'm searching for my forever family and just like that other, more famous Rick, once I find you, I'm never gonna give you up!

I'm a loyal, loving guy, but a sensitive soul and a bit nervous when meeting new people and dogs. The world can be scary, you know! That said, I do love a good walk and am very well behaved on my lead. I'm really working on being a bit braver and I'm sure with your help I'll come along in leaps and bounds.

I will be happiest in a quieter home without too many people coming and going. I'm after a relaxed lifestyle, you see, with slow introductions to gentle dogs and kind, understanding people. Children scare me a little as well - they can be a bit unpredictable! So, if you have some of those, it's best if they're the bigger type, aged over 12, please.

Oh, and one last thing I need from you is a commitment to my dental care please. I've had some dental work done, you see, and it's important I keep my toothypegs extra clean and shiny!

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
