This is our little senior girl Missy 💖

Even though Missy is a senior at 11yrs old we don’t want her age to fool you.
This girl still has lots of life in her and is still quite active for her age.

The Jack Russell Breed are known to be very Intelligent, Athletic and Energetic and Missy is still very much all of these.
She will need regular exercise and mental stimulation, especially if left on her own for longer periods of time.
If you are new to the breed we do recommend that you do some research before applying, as
this breed is also known to be a little vocal.
While Missy has been in care she has shown she can be a bit on the vocal side if someone is at the door or if she is out on her walk approaching another dog but we have found she does settle quite quickly.

Missy loves being around her people and you will most certainly have a lounge buddy while chilling watching TV.
She is good with children but isn’t a lover of smaller animals or pocket pets.

Currently Missy is in care with other dogs of various sizes, she can sometimes get a little aggravated by them but tolerates everybody.
We think Missy would be just fine as an only dog, as her people are her preference, or if she was to share her home with a doggy companion a meet would be a must to make sure their personalities were a match.

Missy is housetrained, so she would ideally be looking for a home where she could enjoy spending these cold nights inside snuggled with her people but she also enjoys spending those sunny days out the back catching some beautiful sunshine.
