Neva is a lovely pup who has had an unsettled start to life and is seeking her forever people. Beautiful in looks and spirit, Neva is a typical labradoodle puppy, full of enthusiasm and love. Neva adores other dogs and people of all sizes. While bursting with puppy enthusiasms for fun and play, Neva can find her off switch and is able to settle well around the home. Clever Neva is housetrained, knows how to sit and sleeps well at night in the living room, technically on her own bed but usually preferring the floor or the couch!
Neva enjoys play time and is excellent with the resident dogs in her foster home. She also enjoys releasing her puppy energy through regular daily walks. Neva travels well in the car; reports from previous owners suggest she has been carsick in the past, but we have not seen this while she has been in care.
Neva’s love for other dogs knows no bounds, and this can leave her stressed when left without canine company, and overexcited when meeting other dogs when out and about. Neva is currently receiving medication to help her hormonal system regulate these responses while she is still growing. She will need to stay on this medication until she matures, but its effects combined with ongoing socialisation and training to exercise her mind and body are setting her up to be a fantastic canine citizen.
Given her puppy love, Neva must be rehomed with another friendly dog or dogs. In addition to requisite dogs, her perfect world will include people of all sizes who want to give Neva love and interaction through play, training and engagement exercises, as well as exposure to new experiences so that her world can grow. Her medication regime will need to be maintained until she matures, and her forever people will need to ensure Neva is regularly groomed so she is happy and healthy.
Neva is a truly lovely girl and ready to join her own cheer squad on the road to excellence. Could you be her Team Captain?

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Commonly asked questions and their answers are provided when you email us. Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. We look forward to receiving your application.
