Violet - 9 Week Old Staffy X

Violet is an 9 week old, female, Staffy Cross. She is a very calm and affectionate puppy who loves lots of cuddles with her humans. She is is very sweet and can be a little shy at first, but very cheeky and she loves being outside playing with her toys.

Violet is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment with 4 kids, a smaller dog and another puppy Zeus (who is also available for adoption). She is doing very well with basic training and toilet training. She absolutely loves the company of his humans and will follow you round everywhere.

She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Violet will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Violet. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

Violet needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Violet’s adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

Violet is in foster care in Central Coast, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.

If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
