Marshall - 7 Week Old Siberian Husky X (Trial)

Marshall is an 11 week old Siberian Husky X Bull Arab pup. He is a beautiful, well mannered boy who loves attention and is very playful. Marshall will sit and is learning to use his manners to be picked up or sit on the couch. He is toilet training and will need help to continue. He loves pats and cuddles. He will be a very large boy and will need lots of exercise and room to be himself.

Marshall is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He has met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Marshall has the most beautiful opal coloured eyes and he is currently staying with his foster brother a small 1 year old Cavalier.

Marshall will grow up to be a large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion, and playmate for Marshall. If you don’t have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn’t work full time.

Marshall needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful-family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can’t go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Marshall’s adoption fee is $700.00 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Marshall is in foster care in Tanilba Bay, NSW. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
