About Goose
*In foster care in Summer Hill, Sydney*
Ahoy! Meet Goose. Once a fierce pirate of the seven seas, now looking for the sweet life on land. He’s had lots of adventures in his past, the latest of which cost him his right eye. Now fully recovered, Goose enjoys his days lounging on laps and nibbling on tasty treats :)
Lovely Goose is a low-energy and low-maintenance boy, preferring to snooze and get ear and butt scritches while purring loudly. When Goose first arrived into care, he brought along his two apprentices (a pair of kittens), and though not related at all, he immediately took them under his wing and cared for them as if his own <3
Goose is a kind soul who’s had a rough life and now wishes to spend the rest of it with his special person.
Like all Maggie's pets, Goose is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll be happiest in a calm, gentle environment, with a devoted person, couple or cat-savvy family who'll show me plenty of affection. Although I'm purrfectly content on my own for hours at a time, I do love human company and human laps :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a bit of a snoozer, really! Of course I have my playful moments, but they don't last long - I'm soon back to hanging out in a sunny window or dozing on the bed. Oh, and beware - if you sit on a couch and I'm nearby, I'll immediately race over, wedge myself into your lap and fall straight to sleep!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kids who know how to handle cats will be my best match. Because of my restricted sight, I can get a little spooked if I don't see you coming.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've been totally fine with the other cats and kittens I've met - I'm very sociable! Not sure about dogs though, as I've not come across any of them so far.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
