About Mocha 🎾
This adorable boy is Mocha....he's our Blue/Fawn Frenchie, almost 3 years old, and quite the little charmer! Mocha is in care with 1 other Frenchie, and had exposure to cats during his time in care. Whilst he is good with the cats in his foster home, and gets along well with the other Frenchie in care, he does like to be the dominant dog. His Frenchie friend is more than happy for him to take the lead in his foster home, and is very submissive around him, which is why they get along so great. If he was to be rehomed with another dog, they would need to be submissive…..He would also be fine as an only dog, as long as he had the companionship of his people more often than not. He has not had a lot of exposure to kids, but LOVES people and full of energy!
Mocha is quite content to spend time outside with his doggie friends and loves to soak up the sunshine, but would much prefer to be your little shadow and lay as close to you as possible (he has no idea of personal space lol). Mocha is housetrained to the potty mat and we’ll behaved inside.
He certainly has quite a big personality....this handsome boy is ball mad, loves playing with water/hose, great in the car and enjoys his walks.
As with most Frenchies, everything he finds in his path is given the chew test, so plenty of chew toys and tasty bones will need to be on hand. Whilst Mocha enjoys spending time outside, the French Bulldog breed are primarily inside dogs.
Despite their glum expression, the French Bulldog is comical and entertaining. They are quite stubborn and can be challenging to train, yet also surprisingly sensitive, remembers what they learn, and responds well to early, patient, persistent training that utilizes food motivation.
Snorting, snuffling, and flatulence go with the territory of short-faced breeds. We recommend doing your research on the breed before choosing to own one, as they do come with a range of health issues and require certain needs.
We are looking for a family or person who is willing to put in the time and effort with training and socialisation for Mocha and also someone who understands the needs and health issues of the French Bulldog. He will need continued socialisation with other dogs, as well as ongoing training so that he continues to be a well mannered and socialised boy. Frenchies love the company of their humans, so someone who works from home would be perfect for this gorgeous boy.
Mocha has had Soft palate corrective surgery done and Stenotic nares corrected. He has had a spinal X-ray which showed 1 Hemivertebrae....this is very common in the breed and not a need for concern. In saying that, there are many other factors that may contribute to health issues down the track, so please do your homework and be sure that you can provide him with the home and lifestyle he requires to stay healthy. Mocha also had a cancerous polyp removed in December 2022 which hasn’t caused any further concern since being removed. There is a small chance of this recurring down the track but vets have no way of knowing for sure.
Mocha is now ready to find a place to call home, so if you feel you can provide him with what he needs and understand the breed, please send through an enquiry….and make it stand out 😉. Mocha is currently located in Noraville on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
