I've been adopted!
About Eeyore - 2 Year Old Border Collie X (Trial 26/7/23
It might take a day or two, but I’ll find a new home – Eeyore.
Meet Eeyore, our charming short haired Border Collie boy.
Full to the brim with love and thanks to anybody he meets, there is no doubt he LOVES people and can’t wait to find some to call his own.
He is affectionate, always looking for a kiss and cuddle.
He walks very well on the lead. He likes to be out and about being social or hanging with his family.
He is dog friendly and would absolutely love to have a doggy sibling. He would be well suited in a house with another dog for company.
We know little of his history before coming to Dog Rescue Newcastle but know his future is bright.
He has demonstrated some separation anxiety in his initial weeks in care and a talent as an escape artist, we hope this will settle once he knows he is safe and stable in a home and/or has a doggy friend to hang out with. As a result, we require a secure yard for adoption.
As a working breed, his new owners need to be familiar with his energy needs, intelligence and eagerness to be involved in activities.
The ideal home for Eeyore would include:
- Another dog
- Minimum 6ft secure fencing, no mesh or wire.
- No poultry or pocket pets
- Older children, for safety if he jumps up to say hi!
Eeyore looks forward to hearing from you soon!
