Buddy - 16 Month Old Kelpie (Trial)

Buddy is a 16 month old Kelpie & currently living a fun, care free life with his 2 large dog foster brothers (Kelpie & Dane X) & 4 cat sisters.

He's super sweet & relaxed boy, very quick learner especially when a treat is involved. Because who isn’t motivated by something yummy!

Buddy is active being that he is only a pup. He walks beautifully on his lead & loves a good rough & tumble with his brothers.

Don't be put off by him being 'working dog', once he's had a good game of chase & a wrestle he's happy to recharge in the sun or on his bed with the other boys.

I feel Buddy would do best with another dog, he loves company or at least a human that's around more often. He happily sleeps outside at night but loves to come inside to watch what's going on during the day and keep everyone company.

Buddy has a tendency to jump when he's excited, so probably older children would be best but we are working on not jumping & he's doing really well.

Buddy is in foster care in the Newcastle, NSW area. They are currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $500.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.

This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
