About Poncho & Cardigan
Poncho & Cardigan are bonded brothers and besties! They snuggle with each other, play with each other, and give each other plenty of grooming and love every day. But they have got space in their heart for someone else - you, their new best friend!
There's nothing these sweet boys love more than someone to snuggle up with in a giant pile of kitten, to play with when you bring out a wand or toy mouse, or to follow around the house intrigued by your every movement. They have the kindest, softest nature and while they are curious they take well to direction and communication. When you see them together, or hear their purring as they approach for a cuddle, your heart will melt.
Even though these boys are besties, they both have their own wonderful personalities. Poncho is adventurous and affectionate, he greets every new situation and person with gusto. He'll barrel into your lap in no time at all. Cardigan is more cerebral, and a tiny bit more cautious. But he follows his brother's lead and it won't be long until he's reaching out his head for some pats. Cardigan is also a skilful pouncer, while Poncho.... we'll just say he's entertaining to watch!
Like all Maggie's pets, Poncho and Cardigan are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: We'll thrive in an active and engaging home that provides plenty of opportunities for play, exploration and love! Our inquisitive nature and love for climbing mean a home with lots of cat trees, scratching posts and interactive toys would be just purrfect. However, as long as I'm with my bestie brother we can be flexible.
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: Pretty high, like most kittens. We'd love to play with you, but if you're busy we're just as happy playing with each other! We're known to get so excited during playtime that we sometimes forget where we are and crash into something, or fall off the cat tree... Apparently that's quite funny to some people!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because we're so cuddly, we'd likely be excellent companions for kids who enjoy playing and hanging out, as long as they can be respectful when we (mainly Cardigan) need a little alone time.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: We grew up with our litter mates and all got on great - we are well socialised and easy going so are well suited to living with the other nice cats. We haven't met any dogs at this stage.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
