Evette is a very healthy dog with an active and loving nature. She'd be an excellent pet for many families with children and/or active adult-only homes. She loves other active dogs. Evette could be the only dog if your household is an active one and someone is home most of the time. Evette is obedient and listens towards owners, knows the basic commands and follows them, although less so if outside, off-leash, and playing. She has an excitable nature common in young kelpie mix dogs.

Evette’s toilet training is reliable and she's trained for a doggy door. Evette is great with new people and other dogs, big or small. Evette’s solid build easily handles playing with dogs twice her size, and she moderates her vigour when playing with smaller dogs (Evette is 16Kg). Cats and small pets are out as they'd be chased. She wants to cuddle often and follow you all day inside. Despite her active nature, she’d happily spend many hours napping for the love of being near you. Evette’s is very friendly towards all parties and loves to play. Alternatively, some combination of regular walking on a leash, other dogs to play with, and a backyard for zoomies is needed to keep her happy and healthy.
