About Comet
Meet Comet!
Meet Comet!
Comet is a grey and white domestic short hair with beautiful orange eyes. He has been a little firecracker since the day he came into foster care. He is a charming ball of energy who loves to play, chase his toys and wrestle with his sister Astrid. His favourite toy is the “fishing rod” and he would chase it forever if he could. He is a bit bigger than his sister and loves to jump out and scare her from behind furniture. He earnt his name as he understands speed and zooms about the house but I’m not quite sure if he understands how to break because he crashes into almost every surface in his path! He is not the brightest but what he lacks in brains he makes up for in love, cuddles and kisses!
He is an absolute cuddle bug. He is happiest when he is curled up with his sister Astrid or his new favourite human (you?!). He LOVES people and is the first to greet people at the door. He is fascinated by water but equally nervous about it but he can’t help himself but to check out the shower when the humans have gotten out!
He loves to snuggle up to you in bed (usually under the covers) and loves to have at least his paw if not his whole head touching you when he sleeps. He loves belly rubs and getting pets. He purrs a lot and is ready to curl up on your lap or next to you on the couch once he’s tired himself out from playing.
Comet is a sweet boy who would love to go to a home with his sister Astrid. He has not been tested with other cats or dogs however his sister has been introduced to a dog and was quite cuddly so it is likely he would be okay with dogs too. Due to his playful nature, he would also likely do well with other young or tolerant older cats. He is good with kids and has been gentle when playing with children under 5. Comet would do well in a home that has the time to spend with him playing and burning off some of his energy. Comet needs a human who can spend some time teaching him right from wrong and giving him a little extra guidance on good behaviour as he is still learning!
