As a foster mum, I would like to introduce to those who have not met this loveable fun-loving, young boy, with a heart of gold. His name is Maximus (Max), and before Easter he was at a rural pound.
His days were running out, so we took him in after vowing never to foster again, because saying goodbye was just getting way too hard! But what we got was a big gentle boofhead - a smiley face only a dad could love, but mostly for me - a best mate.
The vets believe Maximus is only about a year-old judging by his perfect teeth. All his vet work has been done and he has put on weight. He is a big boy and has a lot of energy in short spurts, but also spends half the day sleeping and snoring on the lounge. Max has decided that he wants to sleep inside, which is all good with us, and he doesn’t make any mistakes at night.
Max walks well on a lead and is a hit at the dog park and dog beach. He plays well with the other dogs, is gentle with smaller dogs but can rough house with the big boys as well. He travels well with us in the car and away in the caravan. A perfect gentleman with our older female Labrador and the cat.
He will sit and wait for dinner and shake your hand before filling his big slobbery face.
Maxy, I hope we have given you some wings because you deserve to fly.
Please adopt and don’t shop.
