Hello, my name is Lunar but I am also loving referred to as Pumba. I am a happy, sweet, loving, and affectionate girl. I have lived with my family all my life, with children but sadly circumstances beyond my family’s control and through no fault of my own and I am needing a new forever home. Although I’m a little on the chubby side now, YES, I love my food but don’t be fooled I am high energy and active, it takes a bit to wear me out. I love to spend time at the beach running and playing with all sorts of other dogs. I am good in this sense and when out for walks but I can be much to high energy for some dogs. I can be dominant with playing rough, it could lead to an altercation if living with other dogs, so a single dog home is best for me. This is also why I would be better placed with older children that can keep up with me, as I bounce and jump to get love, give a Staffy kiss and get attention. I am quite trainable and with some consistency and boundaries I will response accordingly with time. I am a bubbly exuberant spirited girl with enormous amounts of love to give. Some would call me clingy as I love to be and interact with my people, always happiest when around them and absolutely love to snuggle in close, if I could get in their pocket I would. I enjoy spending time outside in the sun at my leisure but not a fan of the rain, oh and those big thunder sounds and loud firework noises make me shake and hide, they do scare me. As I am energetic, I am thrilled and need to go for a daily walk or two, I walk well on the lead and am good with other dogs going by. I am relaxed and enjoy riding in the car. I have a few skills I can, sit, on your bed, wait, and my recall is good with my current owners but new owner will need to work on it with me. I have good name/s recognition with Lunar and Pumba I don’t mind either one. Bath time doesn’t bother me, the quicker the better though and a shower style bath is more to my liking. Would much prefer to air or be towel dried and although I’m not too fond of a hair dryer, I tolerate it okay. I hope someone special out there that can give me good forever home.
