Sweetpea is a young cat who knows her own mind. This confident and assertive girl is boss of everything and everyone.

Sweetpea has a very strong personality and likes to take the lead; she is promoting herself to head of your household and crowning herself queen. Your loyalty and servitude is expected.

With a sharp mind, Sweetpea loves lots of stimulation. She is very interactive and will let you know immediately if you’re not playing right or giving her the right amount of attention. She is demanding and her standards are high.

This mix of intelligence and assertiveness make her a cat you will never forget. She is like a bulldozer packaged in the most lovely sleek fur and sweetest face. She will roll right over you and then give you lots of purrs as thanks.

Because she is a dominating force, Sweetpea needs a home where she is your only cat or can be allowed to be the kitty in charge of another less confident kitty. She would be fine to boss around a cat-friendly dog but ideally your home will be devoted to her and everything she wants and needs.

When she’s in the mood, Sweetpea is a cuddly and affectionate girl. But misunderstand her mood and she will let you know it. Ideally she would suit someone who understands cat behavior and is willing to let her be her authentic self.

Sweetpea is also a bit needy; she is an attention seeker who loves the spotlight to shine on her. Sweetpea can play a bit hard and sometimes get overstimulated. Not having full control of her emotions yet (she’s still young!) means that sometimes she can inadvertently bite or swipe at you. She’s just soooooo excited - no harm intended.

As she grows up and settles into your home, Sweetpea will learn to relax. But for now you will need to understand her inability to express some emotions in a measured, contained way. You can take advantage of this by teaching her some tricks or how to play fetch.

Sweetpea is not a fussy cat with her food so meal times are super easy. She eats mostly dry food but also loves anything chicken. She is very grateful for her meals; having been rescued from the street has taught her that.

Sweetpea is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated as well as flea and worm treated.

This girl craves attention so if you work a hybrid situation or are home a lot of the time, that would be perfect. She will be fine on her own for long periods but will need interaction the second you walk in the door. She will be so happy to see you!!!

• Can be shy on 1st meeting … but super confident once settled
• Bossy to other cats and small cat-friendly dogs

• Not suited to a home with children (young adults fine)
