About Dixie 10923
Dixie is a lovely senior lady in search of a forever home. She may come off as shy and nervous at first, but don't let that fool you, she has a heart full of love and affection waiting to be discovered. With a patient and understanding family we know that Dixie can blossom into the wonderful kitty she’s meant to be.
She is seeking a home with someone who has experience with timid cats. A calm and understanding owner who will give her the space she needs to feel safe and loved would be ideal. We believe that a tranquil environment will help her thrive and will allow her true personality to shine through.
She’s an independent girl who likes to take things at her own pace, and we must admit that she hasn't shown much interest in toys so far. She prefers the simple pleasure of chilling out in her condo and observing the world around her.
When you first meet her, you might notice that she’s a little cautious. It takes some time for her to warm up and feel comfortable in new situations. However, she has a secret weakness: treats! Offering her some tasty treats is the perfect way to win her over and gain her trust.
Dixie is open to meeting calm and cat-savvy children over the age of 10 years of age. Their patience and understanding can help her feel more at ease and comfortable in their presence. As for other feline friends, she might be able to adjust to them after she settles into her new environment, however, introductions should be done slowly and carefully, respecting Dixie’s needs and preferences.
If you're looking for a mature and quiet companion who’s independent and knows what she wants, then Dixie might just be the perfect fit for you.
