About Phoenix
Phoenix is a nine week old black and tan German Shepherd puppy who is ready for his forever home. He is a long coat and will need his new family to maintain and care for it. He loves gentle cuddles and will sit on your knee while he observes the world.
Phoenix has grown into a confident boy who is interested in people and loves to be close by. Phoenix's parents were German Shepherd's, his father was black and tan and his mother was a lovely black coat.
Phoenix and his brother have been raised around Chihuahua's and their puppies who all played and rumbled together. We would recommend Phoenix's new family continue with his socialisation to ensure he continues to grow into a self assured and calm dog.
We are looking for a committed owner who will ensure Phoenix receives essential ongoing training. Previous experience with this breed or large breed dogs is a must.
If you are prepared to make a 10 year plus commitment to this beautiful boy then please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Phoenix" below.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family and any dogs to meet Phoenix. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Tamworth or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Phoenix is not desexed due to his young age however, Phoenix's new family will need to enter a Desexing Agreement.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
