About Mia
Mia truly is a beautiful girl but she didn’t have a good start of her life.
Mia was bought for the purpose of being used as a backyard breeding girl.
After Mia had her first litter, her owners then decided to sell her off as they had a new born baby & no longer had time for Mia.
Mia was not desexed & advertised on some social media. Fortunately, a member of our rescue happened to see it. Mia’s caught her heart so she decided to buy Mia, desexed her & found Mia a new loving family.
Unfortunately, not long after being adopted, a family member left the door open & Mia’s got out and didn’t find her way back home.
Mia was gone missing for 8 long months.
One night, Mia’s new owner received a phone call from an emergency Vet hospital advised that Mia was dropped off by someone & she was in really bad condition.
Apparently, Mia was brought to the emergency Vet by the feeder. They found Mia a while back and decided to keep her then at Christmas time, they went away for a couple of weeks and let Mia out. Mia was trying to survive by roaming around looking for food and unfortunately, she got attacked by a dog.
Mia’s injury was unimaginable. The wound was so severe & full of maggots. Mia was so unwell & miserable due to the pain was just too much for her little body.
Mia was in septic shock. In order to save Mia’s life, she had to have her leg amputated.
Mia was a real fighter. After all that she’s been through, Mia was recovering amazingly & adjusted herself really well with her 3 remained legs.
After a year in our care, Mia is now well & truly back to her good health condition. She’s put on weight & is a happy girl.
Mia’s 2nd owner felt that it’s better to let us find Mia a real loving home that Mia deserves.
Mia really is a very special girl, so she needs a very special family who would give her unconditional love and unconditional care with a home that she will spend the REST of her life to love and to be loved.
If you feel that you are the right person for Mia please contact us so that we can discuss with you further.
Medical notes
Mia is a 3 legged cat.
