About Harvey
This is Harvey ♥️
7yrs
Desexed male
JRT
Dog/People Social
Harv is a wonderful little dude.
What there is to love about this boy:
* very clever and trainable (so you would be required to kept his training up to him)
* loves being out and about and exploring
* loves people
* chill with dogs off lead and in the house
* house trained
* great in the car (any caravanning people out there?)
* crate trained
What there is to LEARN to love and manage about Harvey?
* Harvey is only OK with kids, if they bother and pester him too much he won’t be tolerant of it
* Harvey is storm phobic so needs to be crated during a storm with his thunder jacket on
* can be barky and whiny (but if you follow his carers instructions this can be managed and avoided)
* CAN be a bossy little so and so with his dog mates, this means he CAN guard you from them if he is allowed to do so (again if you follow his carers instructions this also can be avoided and managed easily)
* he’s a jack Russell - so that means he can have attitude which also means he can be lead reactive if he feels like it (but AGAIN if you follow his carers instructions this can also be managed and stopped)
* again - he’s a Jack Russell, this means you NEED to be prepared to have one. He isn’t for you grandparents and he isn’t for a young family - he needs someone to be willing to adjust their life to him and not make him fit into their life. Make small changes and he will fit wonderfully.
He is a seriously special guy and means a lot to his carer and those that surrendered him therefore he is in no rush to be rehomed. We have the time to find him his place so we have the space to be picky.
Harvey is up to date with flea/tick/worming and vaccinations
Harvey has also recently had a dental so the upkeep of his dental health is extremely important
