About Red (monos Thunder)
My name is Red and I am a male greyhound looking for a loving forever home. I have recently retired from the racing industry and am ready to start a new chapter in my life as a companion. I will need some time and patience to adjust to my new home environment, but I promise to make it worth it.
I am a very peaceful boy when playing with other greyhounds, and I love to take it easy and be a couch potato. I walk nicely on a lead and am very tidy with my toilet habits. I am not fussy with food and recently had my teeth cleaned, so I am in great health.
While I am a gentle boy, I do get nervous around sudden movements, so I would be best suited to a quiet home with no small animals or children. I am a sensitive soul, but with plenty of love and care, I will make the perfect furry friend for someone looking for a loyal companion. Come meet me, and I promise to steal your heart with my beauty and peaceful nature.

We ask for a one-month "foster to adopt" period, giving us all time to ensure that this greyhound can adapt to your home. When adopting a greyhound from RSPCA Tasmania, you will receive a special orange collar, which has your dog's unique number on it. Please make sure your grey wears that collar when visiting a special greyhound off-leash area, located in Kingsborough and Launceston, or just out and about for a walk.
