BONDED PAIR _ MAGGIE
Hey there, introducing Duke. He's a ten-year-old Border Collie. Duke is a sweet old man who is looking for a nice quiet home where he can retire with his girlfriend Maggie, as they have grown up together and don't know life away from each other. He's a dear old boy who enjoys gentle affection and cuddles. Also, as a Border Collie, he's a smart old boy, knows his 'sit', 'shake' and 'down'.
He'll need to be allowed indoors to be part of the family. He loves his food, so would benefit being fed from enrichment to provide him with some mental stimulation and brain training activities. Calm older than toddler kiddies please as he can be little nervous at times and worried with close handling. Duke has low tolerance to other dogs and will snap at them if they come into his space but prefers to avoid them. He was able to meet a calm gentle older boy but remained quite tense. But of course, gets on well with his friend Maggie.
