About Archer and Alaska
Hi there! My name is Archer, and I'm here to tell you all about myself and my incredible feline friend, Alaska. We are a bonded pair. We're inseparable! We're like two peas in a pod, and our love and friendship are truly special.
I'm the life of the party, always full of energy and playfulness. Meeting new people is my favourite thing, and I absolutely love having everyone's attention. I'll be the first to greet you at the door with a big purr and a friendly rub against your legs. Once you're settled, I'll find my favourite spot—right on your lap! Purring is my superpower, and it's been said that I purr like a helicopter. It's my way of telling you just how much I adore you.
What sets me apart is my outgoing personality. I'm a social butterfly, eager to make friends with anyone who crosses our doorstep. Playful and adventurous, I'm always up for a game of fetch or chasing toys around the house. And did I mention that my sister, Alaska, is my absolute favourite playmate?
Now, I have to admit, I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed. Sometimes I run into walls or get into accidental mischief. But fear not, my adorable and sweet nature more than makes up for it. And guess what? I have a secret talent—I can carry toys in my mouth and yell at the same time! It's quite a spectacle, I must say.
My typical day revolves around a few simple pleasures: food, cuddles, and playtime with Alaska. We have an automatic feeder, so you don't have to worry about waking up at the crack of dawn to feed me. After breakfast, Alaska and I love to curl up together in our cat tree, giving each other baths and exchanging affectionate licks. We're the best grooming team you'll ever see!
Throughout the day, you'll find us engaged in play sessions. I'll be dragging our prey wand around, enticing Alaska to chase after it. And did I mention food? Well, let's just say I have a bit of a food addiction. I'll eat until I can't eat anymore, and then I'll find a way to eat some more. But hey, I'm working on it!
Now, let's talk about Alaska. She's my wonderful sister, and even though she's a bit more reserved, she's equally amazing. Alaska is an independent and funny cat, always keeping us entertained. She has this incredible talent for giving dirty looks that will make you laugh. Trust me, it's a sight to behold!
Alaska has her own quirks, like being fascinated by reflective surfaces. Glass, mirrors, even turned-off TVs capture her attention. She'll slide her paws along the surface, mesmerised by her own reflection. Unlike me, she's not a fan of being carried, but she loves riding on your shoulder, feeling safe and secure. And when it's time to rest, you'll find her expertly flattening herself out under the covers, camouflaging herself for a long warm nap.
As for showing affection, Alaska prefers to be in the same room as you, quietly observing and occasionally rubbing up against you. She loves cuddling, but she likes to do it on her own terms. But don't worry, I'm always here to fill up your feel good hormones!
Regretfully and with a very heavy heart, our owner is looking to rehome us because of a change in family circumstances. He told us that he'd like to offer you a professionally built custom enclosure free of charge!

Alaska has had her tail broken in utero, which has left a slight bend. However, it doesn't cause her any trouble or discomfort. To alleviate Alaska's anxiety, mobile vet visits and feeding her Hill's Stress diet have proven beneficial.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
