About Lilah
Lilah is a sweet, timid girl who craves affection but gets startled at sudden noises as she she's still getting used to the world. She loves affection and will come up to you for pats, belly rubs and wants to be where you are. She will cuddle in to you and lift her leg for a pat. She loves humans although she has only met kids aged 11 and up so far.
Lilah is still adjusting to the world. Since being at her foster family’ home, she has settled in the home environment beautifully but is still getting used to walks. She is slowly learning basic commands and responds well to gentle yet firm boundaries. She is food motivated so doing so with treats is helpful! She is now toilet trained and uses the doggy door at her foster carer’s home.
Lilah is nervous around other dogs and requires slow introduction. Although she gets along with her foster carer’s dog, we believe she would be best suited a home where she is the only dog.
Lilah's ideal home would be with a patient and kind family who can provide gentle guidance, help her socialize, and build her confidence. We believe with some obedience training and firm boundaries, she will truly thrive. We are seeing her come more out of her shell and becoming a sweet and playful girl who loves pats and cuddles. She truly deserves a perfect home where she can settle in and be herself. 💓
