About Mim
Introducing Mim! Mim is a Dachshund x Shar Pei born on 25th January 2019.
Mim was brought in to us as a stray who was still microchipped to her breeder. As the breeder didn't know who she rehomed to, they surrendered her for rehoming. It appears that Mim has had at least one litter of puppies.
When Mim first came in to us she was temperamental when meeting new people, however since then, she has come leaps & bounds and loves meeting everyone who comes in! She's a super sweet girl who loves a belly & back scratch. She is often seen doing a complete body slam on herself so she can get a belly rub. Mim loves doing zoomies around the yard.
Unfortunately Mim did not test well with dogs or pocket pets, so she will need to be the only dog at home with no chickens or rabbits etc.
Mim seemed unfazed by cats through a barrier, so we believe that with a slow & controlled introduction she could potentially live with cats at home.
Mim shows no signs of food aggression towards humans, however she has shown mild signs of anxiety from the people she trusts.
We have found that Mim loves devon, which is very useful when doing her training.
Mim's adoption fee is $600 and includes her desexing, lifetime registration & current vaccination. Mim is also regularly treated for flea and worms.

Mim is located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
