About Koala
Koala’s personality:
Koala was named for her colouring and not her personality - she is not one to laze around and chew leaves all day! She absolutely loves attention and affection, lapping up any pats and scratches you will give her. Her gorgeous and silky coat is heaven to pat and she will always make sure to tell you if she would like more pats!
Koala’s ideal forever home:
Koala is a confident young lady and will suit any home as long as there are lots of love and cuddles to be had. We do not know if she has ever been around dogs before, but is friendly and playful with other cats - she is currently rooming with her brother, Panda. She would love a home where she has space to run and a playmate (human or feline, she is not fussy!) As with all of our cats, Koala must be adopted as indoor only.
Koala’s story:
Koala was bought to us after her and Panda were found to have been abandoned at a house in Bulahdelah. They were impounded, but stayed with us under duty of care until they had completed their mandatory council impound time. Her and Panda took a while to adjust to their new surroundings, but it did not take very long for Koala’s true personality to come out and she started strutting her stuff around the cattery.
More about Koala:
Koala is an absolute love bug. She loves to be picked up and cuddled, also demanding more if it was not enough affection! She reaches her little paws up whenever she has human visitors in the cattery and makes sure she is the first one to get attention. This sweetheart will make such a loving and playful addition to any family.
Koala’s medical history:
Koala is in great health and is desexed, vaccinated and up to date with flea, tick and worm preventative treatments. Koala’s adoption fee is $150, which contributes towards the cost of her care during her time at the rescue. If you think Koala sounds like the perfect addition to your family, apply to adopt her today!
