About Matilda
Matilda’s personality:
Matilda has a quiet and reserved nature, preferring the comfort of her own safe hidey hole and exploring on her own terms. She does like to have the occasional chit chat with people, sharing her tiny quiet miaow with the world.
Matilda’s ideal forever home:
Matilda would best suit a quiet home where there are not too many coming and goings so that she can feel safe to be herself and laze around in the sun. She would best suit a home with an older person or couple seeking companionship As with all of our rescue cats, she must be kept indoors only and this is especially important for Matilda as this is all she has ever known. She has also lived with another cat before so she would suit a new home with another quiet kitty cat in residence.
Matilda’s story:
Matilda was surrendered to us at Sweet Pea by her owner, as she going to be travelling more frequently overseas. Matilda had spent her whole life in the same house up until now, so this has been a big adjustment for her since she arrived at the rescue. She is slowly starting to come out of her shell spend more time around new people.
More about Matilda:
Matild is a beautiful, striking Ocicat - a breed of cat that may not be known to you, but one that you will definitely not forget once you have seen this gorgeous girl! Matilda will need time and patience to settle into a new home, after having such a big change in her life. Once she has settled, her sweet and affectionate nature will shine through and you can guarantee she will make a wonderful companion.
Matilda’s adoption fee is $150, which contributes towards her care at the rescue to date.
