About Nila
*In foster care in Strathfield, Sydney*
Beautiful smoky-grey Nila is a quiet little love who absolutely adores a neck or chin scratch! Her big purr bursts into action the second you start brushing her, and after scratches and brushes, play time is her favourite time of day :)
When Nila gets the zoomies, she goes slightly wild - racing up and down the cat tree and zig-zagging in and out of every doorway! She's a delightful girl who'll fit happily into a patient, peaceful home with people who'll take the time to play and snuggle with her.
Like all Maggie's pets, Nila is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be in a quiet home with someone who'll give me all the time I need to settle in and get comfortable. It might take a while, so your patience and understanding will be so appreciated!
Ideally there won't be too much hustle and bustle, and I'd love somewhere that's just mine where I can retreat to when I get stressed or scared - maybe under a bed or in a wardrobe?
Oh, and I really enjoy games and toys so I hope you do too!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I spend most of the day napping in a sunny window or on a cosy spot on the bed, but I definitely have my active moments! Watch out for my big boost of energy right before bed time :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: older Kids 10+ who'll respect my personal space and let me settle in at my own pace would be ok. It takes me a while to warm up so I need a home that is happy to let me get comfortable with time.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: While I've not met any other pets since coming into foster care, I was living on the streets in a cat colony previously - so I'm happy to be introduced to your kitty and see how it goes!
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
