Fall for a Shining Star!
- Pretty little Star has made huge progress since coming into her foster carers home 3 months ago, and with a little compassion and patience from you, she'll become your darling companion.
- A sweet 6 month old tabby, Star will roll over in welcome when you come home and gaze lovingly at you, but is still timid and unsure about being touched or stroked.
- Star's relaxed and content at home by herself gazing out the window, hanging out in her beloved cat tree, or just lazing on the bed.
- She'll quite often sit directly in front of her carer, gazing up at her, but is not quite brave enough yet to allow a cuddle or to jump up onto her lap.
- She plays with her toys by herself or will happily interact with her carer dangling a string toy.
- Star is very chatty and not shy about letting you know she would like some more food; she loves her food and treats. She often gets the zoomies in the evening after dinner.
- Star is now beginning to experiment with jumping up to be next to her carer or sitting on the back of the sofa behind her, not quite sure yet if it's ok to trust.
- Star is litter trained, and untested with other pets or children.
- Sweet, happy little Star will be best suited to a quiet loving home with a new owner with the patience and understanding to encourage her to trust hoomans and 'come into her own'. Make a wish!

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
5 GREAT REASONS TO ADOPT FROM SAFE BUSSELTON:

- Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, desex and microchip and microchip ownership transfer;

- Speak directly with my foster carer;
- Quick response to your enquiry.
