About Heather
Heather is a sweet, playful 2 year old kitty who is looking for her forever home!
She has a beautiful spotted tabby and white coat, with gorgeous amber eyes and the cutest smile.
Heather is a kitten at heart and loves to play with her toys. Her favourite spot is at the top of the scratching post, soaking up the sun as it streams through the window.
She gets along with cats and kids and is learning to accept the dog.
Heather is a VERY smoochy cat and would love to be a lap cat! However, she’s not keen on being picked up and carried around.
The perfect home for Heather would be one where she gets lots of attention and pats. She’d be happy with a feline friend or on her own. She’d be perfectly happy if there were no dogs to annoy her.
If you’d like to apply to adopt Heather, get in touch today!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
