About Ziggy
Introducing the gorgeous Ziggy! Ziggy is a Shar Pei x born 3rd May 2018.
Ziggy was brought in to us as a stray with his girlfriend Mia, our pregnant mumma Staffy x & they were both surrendered to the facility as their fencing wasn't suitable for keeping dogs in the yard.
Ziggy tested well with other dogs & has previously lived with two other dogs (1 male, 1 female), however he doesn't really show any interest in them. Ziggy could live with other friendly dogs as long as they're not too in his face.
Ziggy was unfazed by cats & pocket pets when we did his testing, so we believe he could be suitable to live with smaller animals at home. We would recommend slow & control introductions to ensure a safe & happy relationship between them.
Ziggy has shown no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety since being at the facility.
Ziggy's surrender profile states that he is house trained & has already had entropion surgery.
Ziggy is such a loving young man who wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Ziggy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Ziggy’s adoption fee is $450, and this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. Ziggy is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Ziggy is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
