About Mia & Millie
Introducing the sweetest bonded pair you'll ever meet: Millie and Mia, two lovely older companions, 11 and 12 years who are looking for their forever home. In the short amount of time fostering these girls, they have brought an indescribable amount of joy and love.
Millie and Mia have proven to be an absolute dream. They are incredibly placid and content with a morning walk and spending the day snoozing either in their cozy beds or right by your side. And, they're fully toilet trained!
Mia, the tiny girl weighing just 2.5kg, is an affectionate soul who adores sitting on your lap. Her little quirks, like tapping your hand when she wants to cuddle up, will melt your heart and brighten your day.
As for Millie, also a petite 4kg ish girl, she may be a bit shy at first, taking a little extra time to warm up. But once she does, get ready for an endless shower of love and affection. Millie loves her food, going on daily walks and spending time in the backyard.
Being small and older, level or near level access outside to a secure yard of some kind is definitely on their bucket list.
They are best suited to a home where someone is often present. Ideally, someone who works from home or is retired would be a perfect match for them.
Both girls enjoy the quiet life where they don’t have young children or young dogs annoying them. While they could potentially coexist with another dog, an older companion would be a better match.
Mia and Millie captured my heart instantly, and I have no doubt they will do the same for their future family.

Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
